Format of TUCS National Publications
The format of the national publications should follow the TUCS Publication Series document format, which means that the publication should follow these guidelines:
- the national publication should have the standard TUCS publication layout,
including the TUCS logo and the logos of the three universities
(the cover page can be different and will be made at TUCS) - the page size is176 * 250 mm (B5)
- suitable text width and height is about 120 * 200 mm
- a font size of 11 points is recommended
There are no style files available for the national publications.
Publishing the national publication
- When the national publication has been approved for publishing, you need
an ISBN-number and a TUCS National Publication number for it. To obtain these,
send a mail to the person at TUCS responsible
for the national publications, and include
- the author(s)/editor(s),
- title of the publication and
- laboratory name (where you belong)in the mail. You will get a reply with the ISBN- and TUCS National Publication numbers within 1-2 days.
- Prepare an Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) file of the publication.
- Send the file to the responsible person in TUCS on a CD or by email.
Printing normally takes 2-3 weeks.
