Scrum-Based Agile Development with Stepwise Feature Introduction

Abstract:
The paper evaluates the paradigm of Stepwise Feature Introduction, an organised method for constructing layered, reusable, object-oriented software systems. Based on a case example, a cross-platform multiplayer board game, we describe the paradigm and its integrated agile development process. The details about the testing, the concerns over the correctness of the produced system and the reasoning based on diagrams are also covered. We also analyse the impact of the paradigm on the quality of the developed software.
